Important: SafeShare does NOT require you to create an account, provide an email address, or register in any way. You can start using the app immediately without sharing any personal information.

- Card Content: The content you encrypt and share via SafeShare cards (encrypted locally before upload)
- App Preferences: Your chosen language and card theme (stored locally on your device only)

- Card Creation Count: Number of cards created (stored locally, used for free tier limit)
What We DON'T Collect:
- No email addresses
- No phone numbers
- No user accounts or identities
- No device identifiers or tracking
- No location data
- No usage analytics or behavioral tracking
4. How We Use Information
Information collected is used solely for:
- Providing core SafeShare functionality (creating and sharing encrypted cards)
- Enforcing free tier limits (cards created per month)
- Remembering your app preferences (language, theme)
We do NOT use your information for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose beyond app functionality.
5. Data Storage and Security
Zero-Knowledge Architecture: Your card content is encrypted locally on your device using AES-256-GCM BEFORE being uploaded to our servers. The encryption key is never sent to our servers. We cannot access, read, or decrypt your shared content.
Additional security measures:
- All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
- Cards are automatically and permanently deleted after being viewed once
- Expired cards are deleted after 24 hours
- We retain only minimal metadata necessary for card delivery
- No personal information is stored on our servers
6. Data Retention
- Active Cards: Retained on server until viewed by recipient (auto-deleted)
- Expired Cards: Deleted 24 hours after expiration time
- Local Preferences: Stored on your device until you change them or uninstall the app
- Card History: Stored locally on your device only
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data. We do not have personal data to share.
We may share non-personal metadata only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With hosting infrastructure providers (e.g., Cloudflare) solely for operating the service
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulation
8. Your Privacy Rights
Because SafeShare does not collect personal information and requires no registration:
- No Account to Delete: Since there are no user accounts, there is nothing to delete from our servers
- No Data to Export: Your data is already on your device (app preferences and card history)
- Local Control: You can clear your local data at any time through the app settings
9. Children's Privacy
SafeShare is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents or guardians should supervise minors' use of the app.
